I offer the following types of sessions:
- Online therapy (Zoom etc)
- Face to face therapy (At present I am unable to offer this hoping to return at the end of June)
- Telephone therapy
Due to Coronavirus all my sessions are presently on Zoom or Telephone Therapy can be conducted online, at a time and place that is convenient for you.
Research has shown that online or telephone therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. In addition, you don’t have to travel to a clinic; there are no waiting rooms and there are no accidental encounters.
For those with a physical disability, agoraphobia or who have social anxiety, online therapy via Zoom or Telephone allows you to receive support in the comfort of your own home.
Once you contact me and I have answered any outstanding questions we would arrange a free consultation session lasting approximately 30 minutes. This would be to complete an assessment so I can understand what support you may require and to offer you the opportunity to decide if you would like to work together.
We would then arrange the regularity of sessions (e.g. weekly), fees, and discuss initial amount of sessions. For example, this may be a total of 12 initially, with a review half way through to see how these are working for you. However, we can review any concerns throughout our work together.
I offer sessions weekdays between the times of 9:00am – 5:00pm however do offer some evening slots if daytimes are difficult.
I appreciate how difficult it can be when you have made the decision to seek support, to meet with someone face to face that you don’t know. It may be easier to have a chat on the phone, text or email to help you make this life making decision to seek the help you need. Do feel free to use this service.
